As recorded in a 1988 Fleetwood travel trailer in Lewes, Delaware; part of a series of what’s sure to be a terrible ukulele tunes mixed on a muti-track (cell phone) recorder.

I thought I’d start out by sharing my pride and joy – the 1995 Subaru Legacy L wagon. Long story short, I needed a temporary car situation just over a year ago and I ended up finding this gem on craigslist for $1000. Now I know what you are thinking.. This car is ugly! Well.. Ugly as it may be; it’s all wheel drive, does well on gas, and just keeps running. The darn thing now has 206,000 miles on it and really drives like a champ. I couldn’t be happier.
Anyhow, I hope many of you spend this beautiful spring day cleaning (or at least) maintaining your ride. Remember – ugly cars need oil changes too!
Do you have an old Subaru you want to brag about? How about another brand of car with high miles? Or maybe you just also love your car and want to comment.. Speak your mind below. dh

I bought these struts on Amazon. You’ll need the spring compressors to do the job yourself. I originally tried using larger spring to raise the car (similar to a Outback model; popular for their off-road capabilities). I’m honestly not savvy enough with (any vehicle’s) suspension to work that out on my own. Instead, I just bought quality replacement struts and the ride definitely improved tremendously. I recommend anyone with old struts get them checked out and replace them next chance you get.
